Step by step
- Decide your target columns once. Most people settle on Date, Channel, Order ID, and Total — set that up in CSV Experts and you won't redo it.

What actually goes wrong if you do this by hand
Squarespace gives you a Date column in ISO-like format, while Wayfair gives you a purchase order date distinct from the ship date required by Wayfair's supplier terms — line those up manually across a few hundred rows and it's easy to miscount a week. On top of that, Squarespace's export customer and shipping address fields are wide, so the money and date columns can end up far to the right of the sheet, and Wayfair's built for suppliers rather than direct-to-consumer sellers, so column names lean toward logistics (PO, ship window) rather than retail checkout fields. Individually those are minor quirks; combined into one spreadsheet by hand, they're where most reconciliation errors for quickbooks import actually come from.
