Why Etsy and Wix exports don't line up
- Etsy: Sale Date, usually already in your local timezone; Item Total, Shipping, and Etsy fees as separate columns, before tax; a numeric Order ID shared by every item in the same order. Also, listing titles are included in full and often contain commas, which can shift columns if opened carelessly in Excel.
- Wix: a Date Created column; a Total column with tax handling that varies by store region; an Order # formatted as a short number. Also, product options (size, color) are appended into the item name rather than given their own column.
For google sheets import, that mismatch is exactly what causes hours of manual cleanup every period.
How to merge them in under a minute
- Open CSV Experts and set your target columns once (Date, Channel, Order ID, Total).
- Drop in your Etsy export and map its columns once.
