Merge Squarespace and Faire Sales Data for QuickBooks Import

QuickBooks expects a consistent column layout for imported transactions — mismatched headers between channels usually mean manual cleanup before import.

Why Squarespace and Faire exports don't line up

Squarespace: a Date column in ISO-like format; Subtotal, Discount, Shipping, and Total as separate columns; an Order ID that's a short alphanumeric code. Also, customer and shipping address fields are wide, so the money and date columns can end up far to the right of the sheet.
Faire: an order date shown alongside a separate ship date for wholesale orders; wholesale unit price plus a Faire commission column, distinct from retail-style totals; an order number tied to a retailer account rather than an individual consumer. Also, quantities are per case/pack rather than per unit, which throws off totals if merged as if it were a retail export.

For quickbooks import, that mismatch is exactly what causes hours of manual cleanup every period.
